The Tobago model at Antilles has an open plan dining and great room area.
The Tobago is the fourth furnished model to be released for sale in Antilles’ Decorator Series of new homes. All four are coach home residences, each representing a different size and position within the four-unit coach home format. Attached, private access garages are included in the purchase price of every coach home. The remaining two models to be completed in Antilles are alternate floorplans in the twelve-unit Multiplex buildings that overlook the pool, Kingfisher Lake and Wetland Preserve. They are scheduled for completion later this fall and include ground level garage parking with the purchase of each residence. Cheryl Deering, Director of Sales for Antilles and John R. Wood Properties’ new construction division, JRW Developer Resources, said recently, “We are delighted to be able to offer new construction homes ready to move in this season – now. World events and reduced interest rates make a case for an Antilles purchase now, and we have sharp model condos with enough inventory to meet increased demand.”

The three-Bedroom, two-Bath Tobago is designed to live like a luxury vacation retreat every day of the year. Its six-light front door creates a bright entry, opening into the Tobago’s Great Room, where warm walls and Potenza Gray wide-profile tile flooring are highlighted by tall white baseboards, wide door frames and deep crown molding. Against that subtle backdrop rich cream upholstered pieces, silvery-gold textures and seashell-rose accents introduce elegance and subtle glamor to the space. The Great Room’s rear wall features wide triple slider doors to the outdoor living area and is finished end to end in rustic barn wood planks, creating a pleasing contrast to the sophisticated decor.
The Kitchen’s lovely U-shaped Blanco Maple Quartz countertop is highlighted by three clear-glass tubular pendant lights. It is designed to allow the work areas to face into the home, adding bonus dining, task and socializing possibilities to the Living Area. The dove gray glass tile and stone mosaic backsplash and Shaker style wood cabinetry with forty-two inch upper cabinets coordinate with the flooring. The adjacent Dining Area’s glass topped table is positioned to become a natural gathering spot, with conformable pull-up slipper chairs to encourage longer conversations.
The Master Suite takes its color inspiration from the Great Room’s elegant palette. Eye catching tone-on-tone double woodwork detailing adds interest to the room and draws attention up to deep crown molding. Wide windows are framed by silky floor-to-ceiling draperies in softest taupe. As in all of Antilles’ Coach Homes, the adjoining Master Bath includes a separate commode room. The vanity has double Kohler sinks with bright chrome fittings, dove gray cabinetry and a soft white Quartz countertop. The vanity is topped by a wall-to-wall mirror installation. The oversized, glass-enclosed shower is fitted with a Kohler rain forest shower head and substantial frameless glass door. The Linen and walk-in Master Closets are both custom fitted with wood shelving.
As Matt Meredith, Senior Vice President of JMD Development, recently noted when discussing what his team considers to be their advantage in the current marketplace, “ From the start, we agreed that Antilles needs to have lower HOA fees than what’s currently being developed. That was our primary goal.” … “at the same time, we wanted it to look good…represent a good value and a solid alternative to what’s on the market right now.” To illustrate his point he referred to the feature sheet, which states that the residences of Antilles introduce as standard features solid wood, routed panel doors, hurricane-rated windows and doors, forty-two inch high wood Kitchen cabinetry, Merano hardware, higher ceilings and baseboards, sleek Decora-trim rocker style lighting switches, cove ceiling detailing per plan, wide profile, twelve by twenty-four inch porcelain tile flooring, double-sink Master Bath vanities, Kohler plumbing fixtures, frameless glass shower doors and built-in custom Closet systems throughout. All residences include Linen Closets, Pantries, walk-in Master Closets and separate Laundry Rooms with washers and dryers included. Quartz countertops are standard, as are Kitchen island pendant fixtures and stainless steel G.E. appliances – including on-trend French door style refrigerators. Recessed lighting and pre-wiring for data, voice and video are included. When comparing a home in Antilles to other options, consider how much of what is exceptional about it is included in its base purchase price.
Antilles’ Selection Center is in the Flamingo Club and presents the features, finishes, options and upgrades available to homebuyers. As the development’s amenity center, the Club’s classic West Indies Island style architecture and elegant finishes are representative of the quality built into every Antilles residence.
Designed to be the heart of community life, the Club offers 14,000 square feet of pure luxury, indoors and out. Its entry areas are washed with light from wide double banks of windows and doors. Concierge and executive services are managed here and the state of the art Exercise and Fitness Center, Massage Room, Catering Kitchen and Gathering Room are to the rear.
The huge Gathering Room occupies about one-half of the Club’s 5,000 square foot expanse with wall-to-wall views over its 3,500 square foot resort pool and spa with adjoining sun and shade decks. The Tiki Hut with al fresco seating, arbor-enclosed Fire Pit, Bocce Ball and Pickleball regulation Quad-Courts flank the area, while Antilles central defining feature, Kingfisher Lake and Wetland Preserve, are just beyond. The Gathering Room offers distinct areas for socializing, from a lounge area complete with a fireplace, big screen TV and comfortable upholstered seating, to multiple round tables with plush pull-up side chairs perfect for cards, dining and general socializing. The tables are spaced throughout the Gathering Room to invite group participation and neighborly interactions. Sonny’s Cafe with its snack bar seating is positioned to become Antilles’ hub from morning coffee through evening brews.
Antilles offers 212 condominium homes located at the quiet end of a long approach lined with native vegetation and bright Florida style, just north of Fiddler’s Creek. The 54-acre site was selected for its inherent tropical beauty, serene setting and close proximity to everything that makes Naples such an exceptional resort town. It is positioned to offer homeowners a luxury alternative to living with the escalating fee structures associated with high membership and bundled golf course communities, or the maintenance of older properties.
There are three types of condominium homes available in Antilles, all with screened-in Lanais. The four-unit Classic Coach Homes have three-Bedrooms, two-Baths, and range in size from 1,509 to 1,537 square feet under air and feature U-shaped Kitchens and attached Garages.
The 4-unit Grand Coach Homes range in size from 1,980 to 2,444 square feet under air and have island Kitchens and attached two-car Garages. The larger Multiplex Buildings have twelve residences with six units per floor, and are built two stories over ground level parking with individual Storage Rooms per plan. Its two- and three-Bedroom, two Bath Great Room style floorplans range in size from 1,448 to 1,698 square feet under air.
The homes of Antilles are built around its central 5-acre Wetland Preserve and Kingfisher Lake, which present every viewing possibility from thoughtful meditation to wildlife and nature sightings. The Lake’s twin triple-tiered fountains are peaceful focal points, especially when highlighted at night. Linear parks and walking paths around the water features have been engineered to inspire nature studies and peaceful exploration. Amenities such as bench hydration and pet convenience stations are placed throughout Antilles to engage the homeowners and encourage the sense of community and well-being that an active lifestyle can promote. As an alternative to more densely populated communities, Antilles is positioned to make life in a smaller development live like a vacation in paradise, with all the newest trimmings. Ahh, Antilles… sun, serenity and Southern sweet tea.
