Alex Mill, the elevated basics brand from the folks behind Madewell, just launched a collection of natural indigo pieces repurposed from its overstock. Dyed with GOTS-certified organic plant-based indigo by Pennsylvania-based Green Matters Natural Dye Company, the limited-edition run includes a tunic shirt, cargo pants, a unisex Oxford shirt and work jacket, and, a linen jumpsuit — all of which we think would help your wardrobe make that transition into fall. Only dozens of each item were made, so, as they say, don’t dillydally.
It’s about to be boot season, whether you like it or not. To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Blundstone released the special-edition #150 boot, a riff on its iconic Chelsea boot. It’s got everything we love about the Australian brand’s work boot, with a few (subtle) details like a rich auburn leather that’s a nod to Tasmania’s “earthy tones,” gold pull tabs, and “150” embossed on the outer heel.
Here’s something delightfully random: New York City eyewear line Illesteva just released a collaboration with Lucali, the impossible-to-get-a-table-at pizza joint in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, that’s arguably one of the city’s best. Drawing inspiration from the neighborhood in the 1970s, the limited-edition collection has a retro aviator design with polarized lenses and is available in four styles. Only 60 units of each colorway were made (hand-crafted in Italy, to boot), so better act fast.
The Always Pan, the culty do-it-all pan from kitchenware upstart Our Place that’s designed to replace eight pieces of traditional cookware, recently got a restock in the spice and sage colors. The brand, which was started by Shiza Shahid, a Malala Fund co-founder, also just released the pan in an enticing lavender that would look so good on your stove, dining table, or, you know, your Instagram feed.
The pandemic has taught us that you can never be too prepared, whether that’s stocking up on hand sanitizer, face masks, or toilet paper. To that end, Leatherman has teamed up with emergency preparedness company Tonquin Trading to create three situation-specific packs: the Raptor Trauma Kit for injuries, the Signal Survival Kit for outdoor emergencies, and the Wave Plus Repair Kit for roadside fixes. Each kit includes a Leatherman tool and other survival essentials, all packaged in a compact cloth pouch.
The ceramics and home decor company based in Aurora, New York, is known for its quirky Ms. Frizzle-meets-Mother-Goose aesthetic. One of its signature patterns is the “Courtly Check” checkerboard pattern, which turns 25 year this year. To commemorate the occasion, the brand has released a limited-edition collection of five ceramic pieces including this fantastic fish platter made of hand-painted ivory and onyx. A smaller version of the fish dish, a teapot trivet, and two vases round out the collection. While the platter is on backorder, it’s slated to return on September 9.

Fashion crowd-approved Japanese outdoors line Snow Peak is launching its second collaboration with New Balance, and this time, it’s inspired by camp fishing. The capsule includes sneakers that takes the sole from New Balance’s MT801 trail running shoes and combines it with a waterproof “eVent bootie” that can be interchanged with a sandal lining to create a three-in-one shoe (waterproof boots, outdoor sandals, and slippers for indoor use). The collab also includes waders, gaiters, and a multi-pocket fishing vest. While it’s available in Japan, the collection doesn’t launch here until September 4, so hypebeasts, mark your calendars.
